How to Use Facebook Touchscreen : Complete Guide

Most people are familiar with the standard way to use Facebook touch: logging in with your username and password scrolling through your News Feed and liking or commenting on posts. However, did you know that there’s a different way to use Facebook if you’re on a touchscreen device?

There are a few key differences between using Facebook on a touchscreen device and using it on a desktop or laptop computer. For one the interface is designed to be touch-friendly so you can tap swipe and pinch your way around the app. Additionally, there are some features that are only available on the touchscreen version of Facebook such as the ability to draw photos or add filters.

1. Swipe left or right on the main screen to move between stories.

2 To scroll through a story drag your finger up or down the screen.

3 To like or comment on a story tap the heart or speech bubble icon at the bottom of the screen.

4 To view a list of who has seen a story tap the eye icon at the bottom of the screen.

5 To share a story tap the share icon at the bottom of the screen.

Use Facebook on Touchscreen:

Using Facebook on a touchscreen device is a little different than using it on a desktop or laptop computer. Here are some tips to help you get the most out of Facebook on your touchscreen device:

1. When you open Facebook you’ll see your News Feed. To go to a different part of Facebook tap one of the icons at the bottom of the screen.

2 To see more options for each item in your News Feed tap the down arrow next to it.

3 To post something on Facebook tap What’s on your mind? at the top of your News Feed.

4 To upload a photo or video tap Photo/Video at the top of your News Feed. You can also choose to take a new photo or video right from this screen.

5 To send a message tap Message at the top of your News Feed.

6 To view your profile tap Profile at the bottom of the screen

Facebook’s touchscreen interface is designed to be user-friendly and easy to navigate. The first thing you’ll see when you open the app is the News Feed. This is where you’ll see updates from your friends and family as well as any Pages or Groups that you’re a part of.
