I would not be surprised if you are reading this with a sense of desperation and urgency. You need to lose weight, and you need it now. And the problem is that you know too many people who have tried everything out there…not only that, they keep trying new things all the time. They try this pill, or drink some magic tea, or have surgery on their stomach, or buy a new outfit for their gym workouts in order to give them motivation…and nothing seems to work.

We live in a society where food comes at us from all directions. 1) Cut back on calorie-rich foods
Obviously you need to cut down on those high-calorie foods that are packed with carbohydrates and sugar. They may taste great, but they’re doing little to help you get healthier.
2) Drink a glass of water before every meal
How do I lose weight in a month? I know this sounds too simple to work, but it does make sense in your body’s own chemistry. You’ll cut the calories you eat by about 20% just by drinking a glass of water first. Your stomach is roughly the size of two fists together, so if you down at least 16 ounces of water before your meal, you will fill up more easily and likely eat less food overall…that means fewer calories! Plus for people who suffer from low blood pressure (especially true for women over 50), drinking cold water stimulates the flow of blood around the body and can help to raise your BP levels.
3) Avoid processed foods

My overall philosophy is if it comes in a box, bag or bottle…its probably not good for you! Typically, when one serving size has more than 12 grams of carbohydrates and/or 5g of sugars, it is considere limit yourself again…be aware there’s a catch!
4) Eat more protein-rich foods
while you won’t want to eat red meat, you can eat other kinds of protein like chicken and fish. Protein helps your body’s metabolism to work at its peak level, so by eating more meal replacement bars and shakes, you will be able to lose weight fast . Your body will burn through those calories quickly!
5) Stay away from fad diets

6) Cut back on alcohol
if you aren’t really big on exercise, then the next best way to lose weight is by cutting down how much—or even better yet, cutting out—alcohol you drink. I is tough, but with all the extra calories that booze contains, it doesn’t take too many drinks before you gain two pounds or more! If you must have a glass of wine or beer every day (I don’t think anybody should make themselves totally abstain from drinking alcoholic beverages), just be sure to have them with your lunch instead of dinner so it won’t affect your nighttime sleeping. 7) Make a plan
if you just try to cut calories here and there without having an organized plan, it can be tough to make sure you’re eating enough. Figuring out how many calories your body needs for maintenance (that’s the amount of calories you need each day just to stay the same weight) is not difficult at all. 8) Don’t go on a completely empty stomach!
I know this sounds like something your grandmother would say, but it really does work! But, if you have at least a small breakfast before going to work or school, then your body will be much better prepared to burn the calories that you eat throughout the day. 10) Don’t starve yourself

Water also helps kill any cravings for snacks or junk food because your stomach will feel full.
12) Don’t deprive yourself
if you like chocolate cake and ice cream, then don’t make yourself completely cut out desserts altogether if trying to lose weight fast is what you’re after. Just limit the amount of times a week that you eat them so they won’t have too much of an effect on how quickly or slowly you get rid of those extra pounds. If having those two foods are really important to you, then try using calorie count websites to see how many calories they contain and find ways to cut back elsewhere so it all equals out.
